Mobile/Base Camp/Eyasi Safari

MARCH 2004

Naaibadad Ndutu, Gol Mountains, Sanjan and Lake Eyasi.

Not only did we walk in the Gols and at Sanjan, we also went hunting with the hunter gathers at Eyasi- which was incredible. I declined to eat the vervet monkey they had killed! I also found an incredible new camp site in the Gols – I named it Pofu Campsite (Eland in Kiswahili) as these large nomadic beasts were everywhere around us there.
